Your product information stays yours.
GoodsCommand uses your supplier quotes, specifications, drawings, images, factory details, inspection evidence and reports only to provide the services you request. We do not sell or rent customer content, build supplier or product databases from it, contact your factory without instruction, train GoodsCommand models with it, or reuse it for another customer.
Private storage and access
Customer files are stored in private storage and are not public, searchable or indexed. Access is scoped to the account owner. FactoryQC collaboration uses expiring, revocable links that expose only the assigned inspection workflow. Factory representatives do not receive account access or internal commercial data merely because they can upload evidence.
AI-assisted and private manual modes
FactoryQC lets you choose private manual mode, in which source documents are not sent to an AI model, or AI-assisted mode, in which only sources you select are sent to the disclosed AI processor to draft checkpoints. AI output remains a draft for human review. GoodsCommand requests that AI responses are not stored, but provider abuse-monitoring retention may still apply under the provider’s business data terms.
What service providers receive
We disclose customer content only to service providers needed to securely host, process and operate the requested service, or when legally required. Those providers process data under their applicable business terms. We do not give marketing or sales operators access to confidential customer content.
Deletion and retention
You can delete individual FactoryQC files, an entire inspection project, or your GoodsCommand account. Project deletion removes the structured project, collaboration links and stored project files. Account deletion also removes customer uploads after active billing obligations are handled. Limited payment, security or legal records may be retained when required.
Safe handling
GoodsCommand uses encrypted transport, private object storage, short-lived upload and access links, server-side authorization and customer-scoped database controls. Analytics record product events—not file contents, factory names, measurements, defect narratives or signed file links.
Important limits
No online service can truthfully promise to be “100% secure.” Report a suspected security or privacy issue to hello@goodscommand.com. We will investigate, contain and provide required notifications if unauthorized access is confirmed.
